Would you risk paying monthly for links.

Their seems to be changes going on in the search engines. They have put together filters to identify links that are being paid for and pervent them from passing page rank. So with this in mind what can webmaster selling links do?

So there are some simple things that you could do to lower the chances the filter would pick up the link, for example remove any ‘sponsored links' or ‘advertisements' captions that go about the links. Also placing them in blocks of text or within the navigation, at the very least don't clump them all together.

More popular that ever article submission.

Recently the most talked about form of internet marketing is to submit article to website design to distribute free website content. So in theory you write an article add a link to your website and then nice friendly webmasters put it on thier website for all their visitors to see. So you get the greatly sort after one way relevant links, and you also get you website plugged on another website.

Which sounds perfect what with the constant rumours about reciprocal linking being dead.

I'm am still to be convinced, this is the new holy grail of internet marketing. Internet marketing via article writing in my opinion is far from easy.

More of my photoshop learnings.

09 27th, 2005 Author: Administrator

Today I’ve been playing with my adobe products. I uncovered this picture whilst surfing the web and have been playing about using photoshop filters. What do you think?

Not the best image for this but it’s the spot effect (forgotten what it’s actually called).

I tried to make her scarey by using the maxium filter just on her face:

This is the patchwork effect, I can’t do much with it.

What about various cool websites I found on my travels. I found this cool website and love it: walnutsmoothie career personaility test. Read the whole thing. Oooo why not suprise your mum with a birthday Tea Towels? Nothing says I love you like a tea towel!

SEO help required

Well I have so many clients that I have been forced to look into getting some help:

This is what I wrote:

Looking for a ongoing partnership with a SEO firm

Hi I am looking to start an ongoing partnership with a SEO firm which I can outsource a number of the monthly jobs I have to do. These are the jobs.

Check monthly SE report.
Each month I have a tool which goes away and checks all of the website ranking, inbound links. However this tool is not very accurate, each month I need to go in and look over it manually to check that the ranking and inbound links are correct. I would like you to do this.

Link building.
I have invested in a certain amount of links reporting tools to figure out what link I would need to produce to mimic the high ranking websites. Basically I would provide you will a list of website I would like you to approach for links, based on the point that that they link to my competitors and then you can either swap links with them, three way directly or just note down the arrangement for me to follow for example if it is a directory note down the details of buying links.

I have a couple of specifics that I am very keen on, the first being dmoz if you can get any of the site that I am working on listed in dmoz, I will give you a one time payment of $150.

So what I am looking for is conversation at the moment. Please could you give me a rough price that you would charge per inbound link and a set monthly price that you would want to check of over the search engine report? I am interested in forming a long term partnership. Please could you give me details of your experience and example of sites you have previously worked on.

Other jobs I would be interested in outsourcing in future would be directory submission and onsite optimisation suggestion and keyphrase research.
