I have been listening to Green Day's American-Idiot album and I found myself wondering what I always muse over when I hear Green Day. I was not familiar with Green Day when they were still a true punk band, except I did purchase Dookie when it hit the market. This was their very first mainstream CD and me very was fond of it. However, from the starting, i've invariably contemplated is this band awfully punk? Being how I haven't ever heard their music from before the release of Dookie, I cannot honestly say I know how they orginally sounded. What I do know is that majority of their songs doesn't meet my idea of punk rock. I am sure I know, they have kept the instruments to a minimum, the singing is nasally, and many of the song lyrics are pack full of anger. Punk-music needs to have all three of these in it. Yet, if this is all there is to punk rock, then Marshall Mathers should be though of as a punk rock rocker.

Well, with the whole music war that has been going on for a while, I no longer have a clue how to pay for music net alone get it free. I still remember the great days where I built my music collection up from stract just from Josie giving me advice ethen downloading it off one of the many different peer to peer sharing systems. However now I haven’t a clue.
Now I have broadband the whole golden era is over.
I don’t even really understnad how to buy music any more It seem that the online music buying system seem to be tied into which sogftware you uise and which mp3 player you have. All of which I don’t want to commit myself to. I keep seeing these service for downloading as many ,sobng as you want but if you stop paying the monthly subscription fee they blank your music collection, seems a little harse. Losign my entire music collection just because I missed a payment. Other charge for the download, which I don’t mind in a way, but then they are only compatable with certain systems also generally I like to discover new music , and before I would just downlaod everythign and keep the couple I like clearly this is goign to cost me a fourtune with this package.

Simon just rang me up and showed me this website: Music Plasma It a great idea, it’s a website that uses amozen database of what has sold to give you a graphic repersentation of what films people liek. That makes no sense well look at it this way if you like ‘fight club’ and you enter it into the search engine it will return a load of movie: Donnie Darko, Memento and so on it’s really quite interesting. Also it does music too which I think is the best tool since it would help you discover music that is out of the mainstreme really easily.
