Well I could get used to this being a toursit lark. well for a while anyway. The weather is good the people arte fun and I am drunk, plus have spend most of my time in the hostel so the weather could be terrible nwho knwo. I’m limiting myself to only on good show a day and the rest of the tiem to cheap drinking.

It is so easy to make freidns here and exspecaily in the hostel, pretty much everyone is in te same situation as you, here for a short period of time tryign to enjoy the shows. I also have quite afew other frineds, since I have workied here for so long, also I have Exs whcih I don’t necarasily plan to see, almost it is easier if I don’t expspecaily when I don’t have that much time here and don’t wnat ot weight it down with tiem gone buy. Aparet from K, mnow I do and don’t want to see her so I’m not sure what do do, sh comes up today and we ahve very similar likes and haunt so it shoudl be interesting. But this year shes the one with all the famous friends not me. Erm I fell the worn turning.

Anyway , now alchole and I won’t care.

I try not to write abut shows here, but I will post about them seperately.

Well YA we are here and havve checked into our Hostel, yes we are that cheap, and it is a damm nice hostel for £14 a night!! We are staying in the calodian on Cow market (think I got that right) and it s very strnage not to have to do anything. I am used to be rushed off my feet as soon as I placed a foot in the festival. It’s very strange to not have to lug around pieces of stage for the first two days. Plus everythign is already stuck together, the festival is alreayd here. The damm thing started without me. How dare they, we not much I can do time now to just accep tthat I am no longer a student and that I have to work. But I am having a proper hoilday soemthign that I haven’t doen fro a long time. Any today, I plan to find Mel ago down to greenside and see what the crew from last year are up to. Buy some trousers, they are women here and they are laughting at my inapporiate leg wear.

Well today has been spent on the train, sionce 9:00 am this morning. Now usually I love train journey , but this is a doozy, London to edinburgh is just about the longest distance you can travel on train if your staying in the british isles. Si and Bill are in good health, we are all holding up well, even though our provisions are getting mighty low. Bill talks of his lost love and frem ing of returnign home, but I keep spirits high by singing old sea chantys, much to the anooyance of the elderly coupel nwho we happen to be sharing a tabl with. But I am sure that they will survive.

Simon has slipped into a comma and nothing can revive him, surely none of us will make it due you god, damm you.

Horay, me and Si are on our way upto the edinburgh festival today, this is usually my fgavority time of year, because I usually work, the edinburgh festival is a mad combination , it is a live time cramed into one month, it really is a completely different world to everywhere else. the people their are fantasic young beatiiful and talented.

But this tiem due to work demands I cannot afford to spend the whole month their apart from cursign and promising myself that I will take shrimp rocket up their next year their is nothing I can do.

But I am goign me and bill and Si. This is being entitle ‘Bill and Ed’s Edinburgh adventure’ ha ha Si your very funny. So armed with only enought money to see a couple of shows, bearly one fully functional pair of trouser. I am going to try and cram the entire festival into 7 days and 6 sensous nights. All complete with fights with Ex girlfriend, budding new romanaces and rebeling agasint strange old bi sexually. I can’t wait.
